We created an installation to decorating the 16th-anniversary event of Midland Square, a commercial facility in Nagoya.

We compared the 16 years since the birth of Midland Square to a flower, and aimed to create a place that celebrates the various thoughts and feelings of visitors to Midland Square with color.

Two bunches of veils spread across the atrium from the B1 floor to the 4th floor, and at the hem of the veils is a corsage-like ornament with a store of fabric hanging down. Looking up at the installation from below, it looks like a blooming flower, a bouquet of flowers, or a fluted glass, and adds gorgeous color to the space.
