From a distance, it looks like an abstraction. But look closer and you will see that it is made up of 196 QR codes. And each and every QR code leads to 196 government websites. These are made of tiles or canvas, and when you hold up a QR reader, the entrance to some country that the CPU pops up, and you have the pleasure of encountering an unconnected culture. On the other hand, it's mostly information you don't know, and in some cases you can't even read.

It is like a 'square globe' that represents our society today. A landscape of information that gives you a bird's eye view of the world from where you stand. And it turns it into a space where people interact with the unknown.

Pandemics and conflicts continue to change the world, while advances in digital technology open up connections to the outside world, opening up a diverse and complex world before our eyes. How do I face and interact with this world now?

At the beginning of 2022, when the work was made, government websites were all about coronaviruses. One of the QRs was in Ukraine and I remember well how scared I was about the possibility of losing it.
